After a fair amount of navel gazing I think that the time has come to change the name of our event/group/camp.
The week that we spend together has become much more than a ‘Camp’ for the Campers. The Bloodliners, the families of our participants and the supporters of what we do have made us into what I think of as a “Gathering”.
So, we are now the Americana Folk Gathering. You already knew that it was all about the music. And I’m sure you also know that it’s all about friendships that we have made over the past 20 years.
